False Covenant blends the raw energy of early-2000s metalcore with modern djent and progressive metal. Crushing riffs, driving grooves, and haunting melodies collide to create a sound that honors the past while pushing forward.
Formed in 2024 by guitarist Andrew and bassist Kevin, the band began shaping its sound through heavy riffs and progressive structures. Guitarist Jimothy joined later that year, bringing depth and balance to the guitar work and fully rounding out the band’s sound. In 2025, vocalist Ceara joined, solidifying the lineup and accelerating the writing process.
With the lineup nearly complete, False Covenant is finishing their debut EP and continuing to build momentum within the Sacramento and Central Valley metal scenes. Their debut EP is projected for release in the first half of 2026.

False Covenant’s upcoming EP draws from the intensity and emotion of early-2000s metalcore while incorporating modern djent and progressive influences.
